Animal Control: These Are Some Of The Worst Conditions We’ve Ever Seen

[DISGUSTING]

Animal Control: These Are Some Of The Worst Conditions We’ve Ever Seen
In Long Island this week, a man’s home was invaded after Animal Control officials received many phone calls and complaints about the sounds and smells coming from one man’s home in Bellmore. When the authorities arrived, they were shock of the condition of the home and the amount of animals that were in the home. From the looks of this home, it appears that this man is hoarding the animals. His home was filthy and the conditions that these animals were living in was repulsive. From cats, dogs, skunks, turtles, and rabbits, these animals were in the worst possible conditions.

Operation Noah’s Ark

This is actually not the first time that this home has been raided. Last year, Animal Control actually removed an alligator along with hundreds of other animals. The alligator was being kept in one of the bathtubs in the home. They gave the owner a warning and for a few months, neighbors said that there were no problems. He clearly cannot keep his home clean, since the phone calls began rolling in to Animal Control. They found the home in some of the worst conditions that they have ever seen. The animals were sleeping and eating in their own feces and urine. The birds that were upstairs in the home had no clean air to breathe because the owner was not cleaning their cages or the rooms that they were in.
There were quite a few different species of animals that were removed from the home. These animals include two very large snapping turtles that were bigger than a lot of car doors, cats, dogs, a skunk, a prairie dog, possums, sugar glider, very large African parrots, macaws, and many others. The owner claims that he rehabilitates the animals, but the officials saw conditions that are clearly not safe for these animals let alone the four people that live in the home, two adults and two children. If the home is unfit for the animals, would it also be unsafe for the children? Authorities are conducting a full case on the home owner and all of these animals.

Neighbors and Problems

Many of the neighbors who called in complaints are glad that something is being done. These neighbors have been complaining for years apparently, but little has been done in the past. Many of the neighbors say that when the house was raided last year, the home owner moved the animals for a few months because he was instructed to clean up the home. It only stayed clean for a very short time according to sources. The man moved the animals back in and the house become the nightmare that it was when the authorities raided it. The neighbors say that the animals cry out so loudly at night and it was more than likely because of the terrible conditions that they are living in. The home owner will face a number of charges and he does have a court date coming up later in the month.
