Throughout the world there is always beauty to be found. Whether it is in nature or man-made creations beauty can be seen if given the chance. Nikolay Pandev has given many examples of the how majestic and amazing our world can be when given the chance. This Bulgarian photographer has been traveling the world and taking pictures that have been featured in National Geographic on different occasions. He has been only a few Bulgarian photographers to be featured in the National Geographic magazine. Although Nikolay was born and raised in Bulgaria his current residence is in England where he has lived for fifteen years now.

Passion Seen Through Photos

            As can be seen he truly loves and lives for him work. While currently residing in London he has claimed that he would be comfortable living anywhere. He has also said that “It not a photographer, I might have been a chef, painter, a mathematician, a sculptor, an engineer, or interior designer.” He admitted that he has done some of those things previously and was fairly skilled at them. However, photography was his true passion and because of his artistic nature he was able to find his calling. Every photo that he has taken is a testament to his love of photography. Each image is his statement to the world of his skill and love of his work. With a passion that burns that brightly it is easy for everyone to see it within the panorama of scenes his shoots. Without the motivation of financial reimbursement he feels that his photography work is better because it comes from his passion more then his desires.

Traveling Is Inspirational

            His love of travel has helped sculpt his career. Capturing beautiful scenes around the globe has given Pandev a chance to show his passion and eye for scenic majesty. Pandev has stated that “beyond boundaries to to live, experience, and capture that unique moment in time, before you know it it's gone fervor.” There has never been a truer and more passionate statement, because no matter the composition of his subject eventually time will take it away. Whether it is the tallest mountain or well constructed buildings they will all eventually give in to the affects of time.

Talent Through Demonstration

             Pandev allows his photos to express his talent because he would rather his images do the talking instead of seeking “boring viewers with testimonials.” As can been seen in the collection of images that have been displayed, Pandev really does not need testimonies because his skill is evident in each and every photo he takes. One of his photos displayed about is one example. It is a scene from Bjarnarhöfn, Iceland that depicts the majestic and beautiful demonstration of the aurora borealis. Pandev perfectly captures the stunning and mysteriousness of these northern lights as a backdrop of a beautiful snow dotted landscape. This skillfully executed photo is a just one excellent sample of his many well staged shots from around the world.
