Wandering Dog Joins the Vienna Chamber Orchestra

[FUNNY]

During this live performance in Ephesus, Turkey, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra had an uninvited guest come on stage as they played Mendelssohn’s ‘Italian’ Symphony No. 4. A fluffy Labrador casually walks onto the stage, sniffs around the strings section and takes a moment to look at orchestra and their conductor, Ola Rudner. After some giggles and applause from the audience, the dogs decides to sit down next to a violinist and enjoy the orchestra up close and personal.

Thankfully the orchestra doesn’t seem bothered by the dog’s presence on stage. And despite the furry distraction on stage, they knew that the show must go on! The Vienna Chamber Orchestra continue to play Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4, and some members smile at the sight of the Labrador sitting with them on stage. From the discreet appearance of the dog walking onto the stage, it is likely that most of the sympathy didn’t know that the dog was even there. Some members of the orchestra were more likely confused by the sporadic giggles and claps from the audience.
