With a little bit of help from the people of Junnar, India, two small leopard cubs were recently united with their estranged mother, a heartfelt reunion caught on video by wildlife cameras.
The two cubs, both only 3 weeks old, were found by local residents in the sugarcane fields of the village. After a medical examination from rescue teams from the Wildlife SOS agency, the two cubs were determined to both be in good health. They were then placed in transfer crates and left in the location the leopard mother was last caught on tape.
The resulting footage captured the leopard mother removing her babies from the crates and finally walking off with her cubs again, a happy ending for the trio and a heartwarming reunion for viewers.
