Man Finds Himself Face To Face with a Baby Elephant Seal

In this video you see a man being approached by a baby elephant seal. The seal pup tries to remain inconspicuous, but it’s clear that he or she is ready to attack the human. The seal inches its way towards the man with its pectoral fins and begins sniffing the man’s feet. The pup tries to make sense of the man’s foreign scent and even starts to nibble on his shoe.
But as it turns out, the baby seal has determined that this human is not worth an attack. Instead, this pup shines its big, beautiful puppy eyes on the man and plays with his shoes. If this isn’t what you call a sign of affection, I don’t know what is! It’s not every day that humans become friends with elephant seals.
