New Volkswagon Shows Off in Los Angeles

New Volkswagon Shows Off in Los Angeles
At the Los Angeles Auto Show, the Volkswagon CC showed its potential to be the next hybrid car. The new Volkswagon will be powered solely by petrol and diesel direct injection engines. The Passat CC premiered in 2007 and has continued to have success as a petrol engine car. Like other models, the Volkswagon will also have a start/stop system and a battery regeneration mode that replaces braking energy. Petrol engines also require battery regeneration functions. Despite the many changes with the Volkswagon, the TDI engines still manage to produce a powerful output of 103kW/138 hp and 125kW/168/hp. The petrol engines meanwhile will create 118kW/157hp and 220 kw/295hp. Volkswagon also showed off a variety of other features for its new hybrid car. Side assist plus with integrated lane assist will help drivers maneuver the car through lanes of traffic. The dynamic light assist will also be an improvement on the car's safety, and a camera-based traffic sign detection system can help drivers slow down and watch out for speed limits. The Volkwagon will come with different color and trim options with automatic or manual transmission. The new Volkswagon will also have an upgraded interior with new technology sound system, including Pod connectivity.
