Puppy Born Without Front Legs Finds Loving Parents

[ADORABLE]

Nubby was born without front legs and weighed in at less than a pound. He may have been the odd one out in the litter, but Nubby’s foster parents wanted to give the puppy a fighting chance (despite the vet’s suggestion to have Nubby put down). Nubby did well in his first month, but got really sick, leaving his foster parents to worry about whether he would survive or not. To their surprise, Nubby pulled through and now lives a healthy and fun-filled life. In the video you’ll see that Nubby likes doing “normal dog” stuff like playing with his doggy friends, snuggling, going for walks (in a stroller), digging (in his cushion), and getting in trouble.

In the video you’ll also see Nubby undergo training to strengthen his body. His owners take him for walks on a leash and swimming sessions in the pool. They say that once Nubby is big enough they’ll get him a set of wheels, but for now he’s doing just fine without them. Nubby’s foster parents have grown to love him so much that they’ve decided to keep him forever. They believe that “different is not disposable and [Nubby’s] teaching people that”.
