Green consulting is a rapidly growing industry with several different niches. The first step to becoming a green consultants is to decide which niche you would like to work in. The most common niches are green business consulting, green home consulting and green lifestyle consulting. The second step to becoming a green consultant, is to obtain a green consultant certification. Certification courses are available online with the most common being an actual green consulting certification. The certification can cost as little as $200 or as much as $2000 depending on the depth of the program.

Green Cleaning

Green cleaning is an option and that’s many stay-at-home moms may choose. Green cleaning does not cover just made housekeeping work. Green cleaning services offer homeowners, renters and business owners the option of having housekeeping staff that will clean with only green products and only in natural methods. For someone with a background in housekeeping or housecleaning services this would be the perfect niche. Carpet cleaning, steam cleaning services and natural cleaning services are all part of this work-at-home option.
