Woodpecker Takes a Joy Ride in a Cab in the Windy City

In this video, a woodpecker hitches a ride with a cabbie in the windy city of Chicago. First you see the little bird on the windowsill of the car holding onto the ledge as the man drives along. The friendly cab driver talks to the bird and even drives a little slower to ensure the woodpecker doesn’t fall off the edge.
The driver even goes so far as asking the little bird, “You wanna see Chicago for a bit?” He gladly takes the woodpecker on a tour of the city and even points out some highlights. Later in the video the bird ends up inside the cab and becomes the cab driver’s right-hand-man. The woodpecker is equally as friendly as the cab driver and doesn’t mind perching on the man’s shoulder. From the video it seems as though both the cabbie and woodpecker enjoyed this unique tour of Chicago. It’s not everyday that you see a friendship emerge between man and bird.
