The United States Department of Veterans Affairs works to help support United States Veterans. Backed by the county, and partners of many organizations associated with the government groups and corporate businesses, the group survives on donations and support of the people. The group, based out of Washington, DC, works to honor these veterans and provide social services, financial support and advice, job search opportunities, medical care, and more for those who have served our country. The United States Department of Veterans Affairs encourages support of veterans and even helps veterans get accustomed to life after war and service by helping them become more active in their communities. Life after service can be hard for veterans to adjust to, especially with injuries, and side effects of war, so the United Stated Department of Veterans Affairs works to provide services to help our veterans and thank them for their time serving.
