CONNECT WITH University at Buffalo
For the last 30 years, the State University of New York at Buffalo has worked to create a more sustainable campus. The school has set several goals to create a greener campus, and the main goal is to be carbon neutral by the year 2030. The university has designed LEED certified buildings for the campus, and worked to improve the recycling system. The university is also responsible for creating a public composting system called Solar Strand. Through these actions, the State University of New York at Buffalo has worked to minimize their impact on the environment and be a leader in sustainability for other large organizations and institutions.
