The State University of New York at Buffalo, located in Buffalo, New York, is a part of the 64 campus University of New York system. It is the largest within the system and is a top rated public university. The university was founded in 1846, but merged with the State University of New York in the 1960s to take on the name the State University of New York at Buffalo.
