Grocery, but after his son Howard E. Butt took over the business in 1919, he later changed the name to H-E-B representing the initials of his name. The H-E-B Grocery stores offer the typical grocery products for everyday use, and also has pharmacies within many of their supermarket locations. The brand also offers appliances, flowers and plants, outdoor and patio furniture and furnishings, office supplies, electronics, beauty and health products, and more. The company works to please their customers with high quality products and transparent labels to protect the well-being of the customer. They offer lines of gluten-free, sugar-free, organic, non-GMO, and other health conscious food products and produce to satisfy the needs of their shoppers.
